Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Thrive to spite them

Congrats Gud on your your younger daughter.

Yay Matilda getting a school.

I need a tiny bit of ~ma to get through he day. I have my DMV appointment today. I also need to get an ink cartridge for my printer because I think that's he only thing keeping it from working right. Otherwise I'll have to get a new printer. I need to send my phone back for warranty repair still and ...I hope it's not a USPS label. I hate saying this but at this point if I send it out who knows if I'll get my phone back ever.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay for the Buffista sprog! Gud's younger daughter finds herself and is comfortable enough to come out, and Matilda gets not only a school but a good school!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had an appointment to get tested this morning, but as I was reading through the email confirmation link of things to know - it said I needed a note from my Dr and would be turned away without it. Nothing about needing that while making the appointment, so I think it is wrong, but I do not want to drive 20+ minutes only to turn around, so I will call the help line at 9am and ask and make another appt if I can.

ION I am up and online well before I need to be for work for the first time in a while, so huzzah.

Congrats to your daughter, Gud.

Yay HS for Matilda!

I never actually got around to watching TV last night because as soon as I sat down, I had two cats stuck on me like barnacles. They've come a long way from the days when they'd hide behind furniture along the baseboards to avoid me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So tomorrow I will accept Matilda's slot at Raoul Wallenberg HS

PHEW! What an unbelievable amount of pointless stress for you all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, I'm so glad Matilda finally has a school!

ltc fell asleep relatively easily last night but then was awake several times, possibly with nightmares. So, we are the house of the exhausted again today. TCG is at work, and ltc and I are hiding in our own corners. She's on her tablet, and I'm on my computer.

The malt shoppe equivalent at her Middle School was a Boba shop.

Our wings are not tired.

So pleased to hear that Matilda has a school finally. Phew, what a relief.

You know what I just started doing that I have discovered I fucking hate? Painting out trim/baseboards. It takes a level of exactitude that is really hard for me to maintain for, like, more than 10 minutes. It also involves a lot of bending which is not great on my back!

We have a tiny doctor who has told DH that whenever he is ready they can both quit their jobs to do house flipping, and he can paint the ceilings and she'll get the baseboards. One day I snapped a picture of DH painting a ceiling and texted it to her with a message that he needed help. Her husband read the message, but didn't look at the picture and paged her at the hospital to let her know Brendon needed help. She called me and we had a good laugh.
