Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning, Dana! I hope it is a good day concluded with a good solid night's sleep.

Good luck Dana! My puppy decided I wanted to be up real early. But only otherwise woke up once in the night? So...I guess that's good and bad.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, that's too early, though.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'll be honest, I'm getting all of our paperwork ready to move to Canada if necessary. M & Peanut are both fine, they're both Canadian citizens, it's just me that might have difficulties. But I finally got my passport back (after sending it in on March 1), so I've got that going for me.

I wish this were an option for me. One branch of my mother's family married into Canadianhood a couple generations back, but 6th cousin isn't a close enough relationship to help any of my immediate family.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

First day~ma, Dana!

ltc just looked over my shoulder and said I was on the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" website. I think she recognizes the font from the picture book.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Alas, I have no connection with Canada. All I can do is keep hoping. In kind of good news, there was a group protesting the so-called postmaster general over the weekend - marched to his house in a very expensive neighborhood and made nuisances of themselves.

We have no recent connections to Canada, and I think I European connections are too far removed to count. I have always wanted to live in Europe for a bit. Not permanently, just a year a so.

No connections with Canada beyond being a hockey-loving sympathizer here, and my family emigrated from Europe back in the mid 19th century. If things go south, I plan to become a fifth columnist right here.

My son is transitioning to a female identity so from now on I'll refer to her as my younger daughter.

I have a hard time thinking about what might happen with the election. OTOH, I feel really tinfoil-hat-y to think Trump won't leave office and things go more authoritarian, but on the other it seems naïve to ignore all the ominous things going on.

It just seems like we could easily have an election that never really comes to a decision and Trump stays in power because nobody really knows how to handle it or SCOTUS rules essentially that Trump wins.
