What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

What is even happening?

My voting plans are as follows:

1) Vote early in-person at town hall for our state primary (for US Senate, not POTUS) on August 22nd (election is September 1)

2) Request a mail-in ballot for the general election, and drop it off in person on the first day of in-person early voting

2a) If I don't receive a mail-in ballot, or if something else changes for the worse, I will vote early, in-person.

2b) If something else changes for the worse, my family has instructions to dress up my debilitated body or actual corpse and make me/it vote in person, on election day, Weekend at Bernie's style.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's sensible, juliana.

I'll be honest, I'm getting all of our paperwork ready to move to Canada if necessary. M & Peanut are both fine, they're both Canadian citizens, it's just me that might have difficulties. But I finally got my passport back (after sending it in on March 1), so I've got that going for me.

I don't blame you a bit, juliana.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

juliana, I don't blame you a bit, either; I wish I had that option. My grandfather was Canadian but I don't think that gets me in. I can't leave my sister anyway, and I doubt she'd be willing to uproot her life to go anywhere.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I also wish I had that option. My family came from Canada at one point, but I'm guessing the 18th century is a little too far back.

So, I did forget a bill - my water bill is due bimonthly so it's easy to forget. Actually looked at the bill to confirm the due date and noticed that my water usage for April-June was 0, which somehow makes my bill $150. Ain't that a thing?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

None of that sounds right!

It could be that they aren't reading meters and that's just some standardized charge. Looked weird, though.

Juliana I would do that if I were you!! Sadly I have no Canadian connection.

What is even happening?

My mother's parents are from Canada, and her second oldest brother was born there. When I looked into it for her, it did not seem my mother could claim her citizenship.

My cousin's father (the 2nd oldest brother mentioned above) was born in Canada, but eventually became a US citizen, along with our grandmother.

That cousin said she's looked into it, can claim her citizenship, and says my mother can, too. I don't think she's correct in what she's told my mother, but I can't be arsed to argue or look into it further.
