They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, everyone.

Gud, I'm so sorry for the loss of your wonderful doggie.

Laura, hoping for the best outcome for sweet Zoe.

mac, no! wtf young man. Bad decision.

meara, quit falling down. That's my advice. Things are much better when we don't fall down.

Speaking of which, I'm watching one of those candid-video "People Falling Down" episodes and wondering how the human species has survived so long. I also wonder how all these people can fall off moving vehicles and buildings and *checks screen* Porta-Potties and be *fine* and I broke my ankle tripping over a piece of wood.

Kids! Parents! Pets! Maybe there is something to be said for the hermit life.

Mo' creatures, mo' problems.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't say it better than Zen:

My computer at home is really crapping out -- several letters aren't working, shift and enter are both iffy -- so I emergency-ordered a Black Friday special. I basically got the cheapest one with any storage in it, because did you know cheap laptops now have as much of a hard drive as my phone?? (OK, more than my phone, but that's because I have a cheaper phone, too.) I know "everything is streaming/in the cloud" now, but what am I supposed to do with my music? I got rid of the CDs, so now it lives in my computer. Changing technology is annoying.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh no, sympathies to all that need them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hugs and ~ma all around this morning.

ltc's new teachers seem nice. One of them I knew from after school activities. The other is new to the school.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh Buffistas. I'm so sorry. ~ma.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

mac will eventually make good decisions...... growing up is particularly sucky but he has come pretty far in terms of things you worry about.

meara, no more hurting yourself. How's the wrist today?

Gud, sorry about the dog. It's awful to lose a buddy.

Laura, what is happening with Zoe today?

I have all the things to grade and really really really don't want to.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My heart hurts for all the injured and grieving Buffistas out there.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Not strangling coworkers~ma for sarameg.

meara - Nov 26, 2018 6:01:39 am PST #2485 of 30019

Wrist still hurts today. Thinking maybe ER after work. Weird thing is it didn't hurt until like 24 hours later. Not sure what that means. Argh. Really praying it's not broken.

Our wings are not tired.

Laura, what is happening with Zoe today?

Thanks all. She is pretty low energy just laying around, but she did eventually finish her food once I mixed in more turkey and gravy. Just waiting for a ton of test results so we can make decisions.

Wrist~ma, meara. No more broken stuff wishes.

Gud, how are you and the family doing? I know how tough my kids are taking this.

I talked to both the boys during the late night early morning vet visit. They will both come over today to see me and Zoe. They are 24 and 26 and really need to be engaged in the decisions. They are in agreement that we don't want her suffering and that we need the information from the tests to know what to do.

Go Kat Go! Grade Away!
