Puppy!
I have lots of puppy (well, dog) time right now, at my brother's place with their two dogs as well as mine. They are mostly well-behaved except for occasionally barking during conference calls.
As much as I love GBBO, I don't know if I'll ever have the ... whatever ... to try making puff pastry from scratch

I used it to make apple turnovers not long ago...
I ended up going into the office today so I could print out a bunch of orders to take notes on as I validate them against projected inventory - only half done with that, but I have the printed orders for Monday, if not the big empty surface to spread them out on - and now that I'm home I am wiped out. So tired! Hopefully I can leverage this tiredness to get to sleep early tonight and then wake up and actually do some yard work before it gets hot

Strata is assembled to be baked tomorrow. Mom is bringing pizza and calzones. TCG will get the cake from the bakery tomorrow morning and ice for the drink bucket. We have ice cream for the cake and seltzer and beer for beverages. TCG's stepmom is supposed to bring wine, and that is our socially distant outdoor birthday party for ltc.

Life in Otter Lake update. When I picked up out take out Fish Fry last night all the people at the bar were talking about their efforts to get rid of the mice. If word gets out I am going to be a popular woman. My few days at nephew's house with the cats appears to be successful. No sign of mice and I haven't heard them in the walls at all. It doesn't appear they needed to chase them off, just the litter aroma was enough to let them know a new sheriff was in town. I told my sister I was staying with her next. Since she is still a hoarder that should prove interesting. I may never find the cats again.
And I am off to get take away pancake breakfast from the fire house. In previous years it was all you can eat, but this year it is packaged. Oh well. Still they need to raise the funds.
I need all the no rain~ma you can spare today.
