Librarian Warlord

I'm so sorry, Gud. I am no surprised when people mourn hard for the pets; they give so much love and ask for so little in return.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, Gud.

We got home from the con this afternoon to find one of our smoke alarms going off. After checking all over the house and finding nothing that could have set it off, Gary called the fire department. There was something wrong with it, so they replaced it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm so sorry, Gud.

Punishingly Intricate

Gud. I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We've been diligently plowing our way through leftovers for the last several days. Down to our last slice of pie.

Matilda has been out of school for 10 days now, and I'm very ready for her to resume school. This is the second year where SFUSD has given the entire week of Thanksgiving off and I'm not really a fan. It's mostly so people can travel elsewhere but since we don't....it's just a lot of keeping Matilda entertained. Fortunately she's spent a lot of time with her friend Davi (who lives around the corner from us), and Norah (one of her oldest friends who doesn't go to the same school anymore).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Glenda Roux, the rescue Boston Terrier, has a family. I'll be taking her down to them in 2-3 weeks.

Because I am insane I agreed to dogsit Maya the wonder dog this coming week, so we will be a 3 dog house. I am cleaning now in prep for Maya coming over tonight. Got the sofa cover in the wash and have vacuumed all but the back room. I need to sweep also.

My fridge is still overflowing with food. Add, eating leftover to the long list of things mac will not help with.

Mom and Dad and I went to see aunt/uncle and cousins yesterday and I love seeing my extended family dearly.

Gud, I am so sorry. Pets are so dear and losing them is very hard.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay, Glenda Roux!

And, I'm so sorry, Gud.

I would help you with those leftovers, msbelle. The downside of being a Thanksgiving guest and not having to cook is no leftovers.

Mac won't eat leftovers? What kind of teenage boy is he?!
