Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

I weirdly woke up about 4am, tried to go back to sleep, tossed and turned for another hour or so, and finally got up before 530. Who AM I? I made breakfast and cleaned up and ran a load of laundry and it's not yet 8am! (Er, notably I did NOT log in to work early, which I normally do at 8)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Dentist appointment this afternoon and our dental insurance is claiming my coverage ended 7/31 and no one has any idea why and I'm already on the fourth phone call of the morning and I'm about to cry.

Oh geez Dana. I've been through that before with the doctor and it's a pain. I'm so sorry.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, no, Dana, I'm so sorry. What a mess!

Oh, of course. It's because the COBRA administrator didn't have my social or birthdate, even though I've had COBRA coverage for over a year and visited the dentist at the beginning of the year.

And of course the reasonable course of action is to terminate my coverage, instead of ACTUALLY TRYING TO CONTACT ME ABOUT IT.

Ann, that's a ferret.

So DC is now under a Tropical Storm Warning.

Oh, joy.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh Dana, I am sorry for all the mess.

SIL's doctor is trying another drug, but if that doesn't do the job then c-section this afternoon. Some dilation~ma might be a good idea.
