I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I've bought so many plants and gardening things. Also books. And embroidery kits.

Our wings are not tired.

And a loooooooooot of cheap Nook books.

Yes, this has been on my spent list too. My eyes are paying the price. So much reading lately.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've bought a lot of 1.99 ebooks. But I can't really blame that on COVID. I just . . . do that. On the other hand, I haven't bought my usual round of summer work clothes, because I'm working from home until at least 2021. It's t-shirts and shorts all day, every day. The only reason I put on shoes is to get the mail.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I bought another new-to-me film camera. And then payed more to get one of my other cameras repaired.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

When I have to lie down with the microwave beanbag on my head for a migraine, I end up listening to one of John Mulaney's Netflix specials, or letting an episode of some show that I've seen a gazillion times play on the iPad while I listen to it.

I used to do that, but my go-to show I've seen a gazillion times is Hannibal, and there's no way I'm not going to *watch* it. So if the migraine comes with light sensitivity, it's all audiobooks.

And they have to be audiobooks of things I've already read.

today's delivery was a houndstooth bodysuit and a black pencil skirt. Tres chic.

That will be a fantastic outfit.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

My pandemic shopping has been mostly groceries, masks, books, and music. Hec, I like the send-some-art-to-a-friend idea!

Also, for audiobooks, do you all know about Libro.fm?

I've bought a lot of books because supporting local authors (this summer has been like WHOA.Just added another preorder today) & indie local bookstores with pickup. Industrial-strength sports bras (they're like a bondage device, but damn, they work) athletic shorts, shoes, socks, local fundraiser does tank tops? Getting 2. Got at least one fundraiser art piece.

I pretty much only go into grocery stores rarely & my ace hardware. Indoors is lava in my phase.

Doesn't the smell make you constantly want a boozy frozen tropical drink?
