I look more rad than Lutheranism

Hec, when did you start running?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pout. There's a drive-in concert at the county fairgrounds that I would kind of like to go to but it's $100/car which is pretty reasonable for a car full of people but way too much for just me. Rats.

Because books.

Hi, Hec! Nice going on the intact knuckle skin.

Wow. That's a cool idea, though.

I'm missing all the usual summer things here. Concerts in the parks, Shakespeare in the park, the fair, the balloon festival. I did hear the ice cream truck the other day, though.

Yeah I've see a few drive in movies or whatever that sound cool but not by myself or for that price. Sigh.

Thanks for the dog name suggestions! I will also continue to look forward to more pun names, like Virginia Woof. My sisters dogs are Charles Barkley and Evie Wonder :) I cant wait until Sunday when I get to meet them!!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I had noticed a small cut on one finger; then, this morning, I cut the same finger close to that spot when I turned on the light in my kitchen (new apartment, so I'm still getting used to things). There was a sharp edge on the top screw in the cover plate for the light switch; I took an emery board and filed it down enough that it's not sharp any more (so glad I could find the emery board). And that's probably a sign of good painters - they didn't just paint over the light switches and outlets, etc. ... which most places seem to do.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I would love to go to a drive-in movie, but the 9 pm start time (for San Mateo, at least, which I think is the closest) is way too late if I want a functional child (or spouse) the next day.

I'm staring at Peanut as she plays with her PlayDoh, and I'm wondering how the heck we're going to make it through a year of online schooling. At least Matilda comes by to help out with her now - I think it's good for both of them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I named a late great cat 'Toshiro' in the hopes that he would be a fierce warrior, but in the long run I decided I should have named him Dom DeLuise.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Lestat the cat would be a drama queen pain in the ass.

So nothing at all like Vlad and his daily "I will sing my song of woe because none of you will come to the basement and pet me in my favorite window" show.
