So all the therapists suggestions are making things so much worse tonight. And yes I know it's not going to be a quick fix and we have to stick it out, but I'm so exhausted right now.

The splash toy should help. I usually envy everyone with little ones, but not in Covidia.
If there's room for it, you maybe can have her race herself in the back yard, too. "I bet you can't run from the steps to the fence in 15 seconds"
"Oh excellent! Can you do it even faster? I bet you can't!"
"You did it! You're so fast. How many times can you do it?"
If there's not room for that, then "How many jumping jacks can you do in a row?" In other words, run her little bottom off, while you time her on some app (which I'm sure must exist), or count, or whatever.
After there is a vaccine, I'm dropping this kid off with her grandparents for a week.
dance videos? or kid exercise ones? I'll look for some she could watch and do on tv.
I'm sorry it is rough tonight.
She does a yoga video every day. I need to look into other options for videos as well. Anyone have an old Wii they want to sell me? Are there other video game consoles that require you to move while playing? I mean she's not exactly sitting still all day, even when she is watching a show she never stops moving.
My kids love GoNoodle, which has lots of goofy dance videos aimed at kids.
We're also struggling with getting enough outside/active time. It's been stupidly hot and humid and buggy here for the last few weeks, and they're so sick of the heat, and of having to put on sunscreen and bug spray every time. Plus we now have chiggers in our yard for the first time, SO FUN. So instead we stay inside, and they turn the couch into a jungle gym, or play "soccer" in the hallway with a balloon and lots of shouting. So much shouting.
We're among the very luckiest ones, and we have lots of fun and good times, but still, it's exhausting. I would like this pandemic to be over now, please.
Up at 5:30 today, but at least I got to sleep by 11.
I miss the times where I had more interesting things happening.
With the predictions of this going on for another year, I am thinking about whether creating a pod with someone would make sense/be ok for my mental health. I have the room and so many people are struggling - I could provide free room and they'd just have to help with utilities and their food.
It would have to be someone on unemployment or wfh though and they'd have to be committed to as much of limited exposure as I am. I am not sure I know anyone in that place.

Absolutely!
People, you already know that my DH love carrots, but seriously he is just too awesome. First he found an incredible car for my son. The Camry service history shows a woman who loved and babied her car. It is in great condition with dealer service through the years. Then he drives it from FL to NY. Then in the 22 hours he is here he discovers (due to the big wet spot on the bathroom floor) that my shower is backing up and leaking all over the floor and in the dark crawls under the house (think mud, bugs, mice) and repairs the plumbing issue. I told him he should relax after the long drive, but he could not rest and wouldn't hear of me calling a plumber or anything so silly.
I seriously don't know how I managed to get so lucky. He has always taken such good care of us.
