I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whaaaaat?!?

That can't be good.

I mean, I expect if a US consulate was abruptly told to close we'd be frantically shredding and burning stuff too? It's very weird they were told they had to close though.

Chrismg that person is weird. Neither my laptop nor my attached extended keyboard with the extra number keys has a "return" button. Only "enter". They can argue they're different but good luck.

Yay making it to Colorado Consuela!

Guys are back doing work today—they said it would be a one day job, but when you show up at 930, leave for 90 minutes in the middle to pick up supplies, and leave at 4, apparently you only get about 1/3rd of the way through. Today they arrived at 720am.

Our wings are not tired.

Please to send the ~ma to Memorial Hospital. My elderly aunt who I told you was having fevers has gotten worse and is now admitted to the hospital. It is her friends and co-workers taking care of her so I expect they are doing their very best. Still, she is old and I am quite worried.

This is the nurse, Laura? Lots of ~ma, in any case

It's very weird they were told they had to close though.

That's the part that is worrying me. Although burning papers in the courtyard and not letting the fire department on the property is also pretty strange.

I think I remember having a separate "return" button at some point but it's been a while. Like, decades?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Laura, I hope your aunt gets good care and recovers.

Lord give me strength. A friend on Facebook is asking whether a t-shirt (that he wants to buy) with a Miata on it under a rainbow and the text "I'm not gay; I just like Miatas" is offensive.

MY GUY. What the actual fuck. (Fortunately, almost every comment is informing him that yes, it is offensive.)

Because books.

At least he's asking? Yeah, I know.

Random hugs or waves or hair pats to everyone. It's so hot here my brain has begun to melt. Pretty sure I can feel it leaking out my ears.

Yes. I'm about to call my MIL, her sister, and see what she knows.

Dang, my brother just told me he got tear gassed and shot with a rubber bullet at the Portland protest last night. I'm actually still glad he went but yikes, another thing to worry about.
