I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There are only dishes that need washing and dishes that will soon need washing.

Yikes, Laura! Well, now you know. Hope no harm was done in the short time you were there...

My mulch has been delivered, hooray! Decided I'm not doing more yard work until tomorrow, mostly because of how long the new battery will take to charge, so I came in and showered and am lying down wondering if I can find the wherewithal to get dressed again to see if I can spot the comet from somewhere nearby, pretty sure this is a drive out of town situation.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh I stayed well away from them and masked. But yeah, lesson learned.

eta: yes, I think you have to be well away from city lights to see the comet.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Not my normal Saturday. I volunteered with other people from my department to work a food distribution center today. We gave out over 100 boxes of food in 2 hours. It is HOT here today, HOT AND HUMID. I stank like stank.

I stopped at a plant place and a grocery and drug store on the way home, was starving when I got home so quickly ordered take out from the place 1 block away, got it and went in to the local drug store for 2 things I forgot at the other one. I still need to get a filter for the HVAC, but that is not happening today.

Since being home I watched S2 of Fleabag - I finished S1 last night - I had stopped after ep 2 when I last watched it.

Now I am watching S1 of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which I had stopped after ep 1 because I found everyone really annoying.

I quit Prime, so I have until the end of this month to cram in as much as possible. I am doing Amazon original content first.

Happy Birthday erin.

glad nothing is broken or sprained - Consuela.

Hey. New board.

We had to fly back to Brazil before our Visa expired. Definitely not the safest feeling experience. The flight from Minneapolis to Houston was a little under half full and felt okay, but the Houston international terminal was quite busy and crowded, especially in the few restaurants that were open, and the Brazil flight was basically full. I definitely slept even worse than normal.

For the Brazil flight we had to present a doctor's note stating we were certified Covid free (negative test received Monday) but the many Brazilian citizens on board did no it have to do that. So hopefully we made it through uninfected.

Today was the first day of our deep quarantine and it's so hard to look out he window at beautiful Sao Paulo weather (56 - 76 temps today and sunny) and not go out... Still, at least everything can be delivered easily. We got not one but TWO grocery deliveries today.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Gris, I worry about y'all! Brazil is one of the few places that seems to be determined to fuck shit up as much as we are back home! Which I guess means you're going from threat level shitty to threat level shitty? but how much consolation is that, really?

(much of this is colored by my officemate in my last job being brazilian and exactly as "everything sucks and is full of drama and suckage so hey let's party!" as basically all the other brazilians I've ever known. But that vs. quarantine times makes my anxious white girl self even more so!)

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Gris. That has to be stressful. May your isolation be as pleasant as possible.

Yikes Gris, good luck!

I went camping last night and am bummed we did not even try to see the comet—we figured the mountains would probably be in the way. And I ended up with a wicked headache today and left and got home an hour ago. Took more painkiller, waiting for it to kick in and then I will nap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got back from a few days at the beach, which was mostly delightful, but of course we came home for the hottest day of the week tomorrow. (We took what we could get as far as the rental house, and really three days was perfect.)

I hate to break it to msbelle, but it wasn't even that bad humidity for here- sky was blue. I did forgo my walk, but that was because I got my first outdoor swim. 2 hrs, got in 2 miles & change & chill time. Going to another tomorrow, but probably sticking to the one that can give me 2 hrs on wkends with max 25 people. I was never close to a person, masked or not, other than the temp taker.

Side note: my normal low body temp causes most to recalibrate the therm. No, not broken, I just sit at 97ish. I'd pull myself if I hit high 99s out of cycle.
