What I need is something that's as healthy as the apple slices, and gives me the same pleasant mouth-burning feeling as the ghost pepper corn chips.
Have you tried just eating straight peppers, chrismg?
My laptop kindly informed me that it needed to plugin or it would hibernate, so I stopped work for a moment for that, fed the cat, and opened a beer. Am also congratulating myself on not answering "that sounds like a you problem" when someone in another department asked how I'd like to handle a shortshipped order. I really don't see how that's any of my business, I though.
I actually like the dried bell pepper chips they sell in the salad section, but they have basically no kick to them. And I don't like the texture of raw peppers - the crunchiness of the apple slices is part of the appeal. I suppose I could try soaking the slices in chili oil or something....
That was going to be my next suggestion
Sprinkle tajin on apple slices maybe?
Popcorn with hot sauce on it? The bits with the hot sauce get soggy but the overall effect is still crunchy.
They do make ghost pepper and Carolina Reaper microwave popcorn: [link]
I am such a wimp with spicy food, as in I can't eat any of it. Like, some things at Taco Bell are too hot for me. ::sheepish:: So Carolina Reaper, whatever that is, paired with ghost peppers... Yikes.
That would indeed make a nice Buffista compound. Though we'd have to set up a rotation for that lake view arched window reading nook in photo #29.
Matt, I'm sure the personal injury attorney will tell you that whiplash can appear long after the actual accident.
In the past I've found that the aches and pains from collisions really show up in force on the second morning following, but at a week out from my wreck I'm fairly confident that all is well. The impact didn't actually feel worse than going over a speed bump, it just came with more sounds of buckling metal than I'd have liked.
