Why do you have to tell them, Consuela? Do they expect you to come into the office at some point?
It's not like I work for a small business: we're part of the government and they have to know where I am. Also we have orders not to go more than 100 miles away without clearance.
I think it'll be ok but gotta go through the process...
I'm now contemplating a shared minion-in-waiting program where people can slounge or laugh evilly or nap as per their inclination at the moment.
Oh, and congrats Laura! So exciting!
I'll join the shared minion-in-waiting program!
Congratulations, Laura! That's going to be one lucky grandson.
It's only Tuesday. I really wish it were Friday.
I had insane-o dreams last night that my parents were moving into an awful house with horribly nosey neighbors and I couldn't speak except for scream whispering (my neck and shoulders are screaming at me this morning, I bet I was straining in my sleep) and I also had horribly blurry vision.
Would like to day drink and watch Graham Norton clips all day.
Ugh, that's a nasty sounding dream.
-t, THERE WAS CONTACT PAPER ON THE WALLS and not put up well, so there were white places at corners and between sheets AND IT WAS PEELING AND NO ONE WOULD LET ME PULL IT OFF.
My OCD things (very slight not like medicated OCD) aggravated by my anxiety is all so bad in the pandemic. My nails are bitten so far down (thus glued on fake nails) and thing like peeling paper, really anything to pick at DRIVES ME BONKERS.
I might need to start tele-therapy. My therapist in Texas can't do it with me since I live out of state (STUPID RULE!!).
- most parentheticals in a post ever?
Oh, man. Brains are mean. And that IS a stupid rule!
Would like to day drink and watch Graham Norton clips all day.
This is such an excellent plan!

That is a horrible nightmare!
The kids are naming their son Jonathan Garcia Holt. Jonathan for my dad, who actually was a John, but whatever, and Garcia for her grandfather. (eta: who was her nanny for years when she was a wee one) They are super cute. I love that they did a video chat with all the various aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great grandparent.
