ND I had to read that twice because I read "solar system" as like "planets around the sun" and thought you were doing some sort of ironic "the solar system is great except for that Earth planet" thing.

Our wings are not tired

Yeah, on re-read I can see how it looks like I'm trying to be clever. Alas, I am not.

In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move. t /H2G2

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I will accept the less cosmic interpretation, but I like the broader one as well.

You know what we have not had this year at work? The annual reminder that the dress code still applies in the summertime. Definitely a bonus of the half-time in office schedule

Now tagless for your comfort.

We are opening to the public on Monday. Needless to say, there is some mild panic that we may not be ready.

Isn't the official Covid dress code is "you should be wearing some kind of shirt probably"?

information libertarian

We have been allowed to wear BERMUDA SHORTS! Because it turns out it's hot running books out to people's trunks. We've never been allowed to wear shorts before. It's thrilling. (I do not own Bermuda shorts, but I have been coming to the office in skirts and hairy legs that have not been shaved since October, because I am out of fucks and yes I did give a month's notice today.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, flea!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I screwed up majorly at work, causing damage to an expensive piece of equipment. If we're lucky, it can be fixed. Needless to say, I'm a bit stressed about it.(As if I didn't have enough things to stress over.)

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Sheryl. I hope it can be fixed. We all screw up. Try to not be hard on yourself about it.
