Naps are great. I just took one. Highly recommended and would do again!

Nap and baking is an excellent plan! Yay naps!
Oh my god I just remembered that I bought popsicles last week. They should still be untouched in my freezer. This is a very exciting development in my day.
JUST SO MUCH TO BGARK AT.
So much Bgarking! Which is how I will think of the specialized barking reserved for the fixit people who have to come to the house.
I'm mostly okay, -t! A little tired -- I've been working the 5:30 am shift during the week because one of our people is out. We're going to inside dining at 50% capacity on Friday (which means, for us, like three tables), and that's ... what it is, I guess.
I don't have a lot of energy for much right now, although I did cave and get Disney+, so I'm watching fun stuff.
In other news, I just found out from my company's owner that the program I've worked on for the bulk of the past, oh, 15 years has received a 100% score across all domains and benchmarks by the Texas Adoption Review Committee, and has been recommended for adoption by Texas preschools!
That's awesome, Matt!!
I just had a person come to give an estimate on astroturfing my side yard. Apparently it's below their $3k minimum, but I could just pay the minimum, or they could add in some nice stairs for me in the part between my patio and the side (currently it's some flattish boulders—doable but not super easy or nice in the rain) and it would be $3500. Or I could try to do it on my own/with friends (the putting down gravel, compacting, adding astroturf and sand and nailing to the ground, not the creating steps part). It seems fairly simple but that involves organizing friends and gathering all the supplies and hoping it doesn't look too bad.
Matt, having worked in the textbook biz for quite a while, I have a good idea just how important that 'adoption' by TX is!
that's great Matt.
what is currently in your side yard meara?
I'm currently assembling an office chair and it is not going well. I put the back in wrong so the tension controls don't work, and now I can't figure out how to get the back OFF so I can put it in correctly. So now I'm peering at instructions online.
hivemind question.
I have looked and cannot find a match, but thought you all might have some insight. I have a friend whose pic on FB is now what looks like section of a flag with 3 stripes. They are from top to bottom Green/Purple/Yellow. Friends pronouns are E/Em/Eir and name has gone from Daniel to Dan to Dani in the last couple of years. Dani is married to a gay man. I have always know Dani as a gay man.
