Our wings are not tired.

Encouraging development on one of our 'Trump is just okay with me because he won't take my weaponry like those libtards will' relatives. DH often gets into debates with his cousin D. D's niece is the 11 year old that told DH he had no right to have a flag on the front of our house. When he mentioned this to D his response was, "Seriously dude, I love our debates, but I unfriended that wacko and her mother years ago. No good can come from any discussion with her." So, you know, still crazy, but at least recognizes the even more crazy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think you met a super troll.

Smells like troll to me. Even trolls can be nice. Especially if they want to draw you into their "controversial" conversations.

Plans to open to the public are ongoing here. Even though our cases doubled this week. Not that we have a lot, but with protests happening, bars open and summer tourists headed North, we are not peaking yet.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

We're sort of opening up, although things are slowed down because of protests, curfew and street closures. The other evening I was thinking "I'd kill for a haircut" ... and then it occurred to me that, no, actually, I wouldn't, since that was a real possibility. I'll live with my messy hair until I can get a haircut without endangering anyone. Although, with the increasing humidity, it's going wild.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

In the end, we'll all end up looking like Christopher Lloyd.

Wow, Philadelphia took down the statue of Frank Rizzo! I lived in Philly under his time as mayor, and he was a really awful person. Way to go, Philly!

I remember when I was in college, he was (I think) chief of police; mayor later. And his brother was the head of the fire department. I was so happy to see that the statue came down.

Our wings are not tired.

Clearly in the better late than never category. I wish it didn't take so much to make them think it was a good idea to remove the tribute to such a blight on the city, and humanity.

Now tagless for your comfort.

On the good news side:

I have gotten the mayor of our town, and the mayor of a nearby town (The HOLY BALLS mayor of Wausau, WI) to make mayoral proclamations making June Roller Derby Month.

Celebrating 10 years of my roller derby league's existence. Which is a big deal in a small market like this.

There will be some video on Friday. Also, Mayor Katie used to play roller derby with me. She will be on skates.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's very cool, Cash!

Clearly in the better late than never category. I wish it didn't take so much to make them think it was a good idea to remove the tribute to such a blight on the city, and humanity.

Absolutely, on all points.
