All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

urgent alert X-TREME

Between flooding, curfews, and CTA suspending services I've had 7 or so of these in the past week and a half. They seem to hit my phone a minute or two before it gets to the smokers in front of my building.

Our wings are not tired.

I had near heart failure over my phone alert of the highway being closed while I was driving as it blasted through the car speakers. I thought it was a car issue at first.

~ma for kitty health, power, and tranquility all round.

ok - I attempted highlights. A medium color and a light color. I look a fool with aluminum every where and a plastic bag over my hair.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ok, there was a fire but it was contained to only 7 acres which is still amazingly lucky. Circumstances of the helicopter crash have not been made known.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How did it turn out, msbelle?

I still think too dark. It was still wet when I last looked in the mirror. Will see in the morning.

Well, it's WFH time: nobody but you will see your hair.

Me, I'm considering going purple or at least burgundy. Anyone have advice on how that would work on my gray? What brand should I buy?

t swoops in like I've seen the bat signal

My fave haircolor brands these days are iroiro, Ion Brights, and Manic Panic Amplified. Any of them will cover gray if you bleach first (you don't need a lot of lift, but you do need to open up the pores). I like the Colorista bleach kits.

Those three are available on Amazon or at Sally's. For drugstore brands Splat is decent but will shed like crazy so if you have white pillowcases you might not want to risk it. DO NOT USE FERIA PASTELS.

For maintenance, Overtone daily conditioner and any sulfate-free shampoo - depending on how much you care about roots this combo buys me 8-12 weeks between dye jobs.

(This is my Overtone referral link - if you use it we both get a discount: [link]
