Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Ah, of course.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My then-church had a clergy member lose his long battle with AIDS right before 9/11.

I kept thinking "at least he didn't have to see this..."

I finally confided this in someone and, yeah, a whole bunch of us had been thinking the same thing.

Maybe it's a way to continue to take care of them in our hearts.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thank god my in-laws, the otherwise intelligent people who support Trump and don't believe in climate change, think that the people not wearing masks and protesting stay-at-home orders are idiots. I seriously would not have been able to handle that.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Small mercies, Dana.

I have been using Disney+ to watch random episodes of SW: Rebels and to catch the very end of TCW. But that's about it so far. Now I have something to look forward to!

I binged-watched the new DuckTales series, because that's pretty much the intensity level I can handle these days.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Same with my inlaws, Dana.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh, it's been a day. Another 3 am wakeup for no reason + Mr. S went to sleep very late again + no nanny/aide today(Gary only had a couple short calls, so he figured we could handle Mr. S by ourselves.)=one frazzled, stressed out me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Second day of back to work, and learned to my pleasure that yet another of the residents has been declared recovered!

OTOH, I feel run off my feet, but it's good to be back.
