Wednesday, they asked about his salary range and said they would check into benefits. That's it.

I'm going to need more yeast soon enough, so I ordered a pound of it from Amazon. Won't be here until the 23rd. I really do bake enough that I go through a 4 oz jar every couple months, so it's not a stupid purchase for the long run, even if the baking supply companies get their act together and start making more quickly.
Your husband is being way more patient than I would ever be, Dana. I would have told them to go fuck off for stringing me along a long time ago, regardless of how much I needed a job.
Huh. Well, good luck, Dana
I ordered some stuff to be delivered to my mother from a local to her shop and the website said it would be delivered Sunday or maybe Saturday if they got too many orders to do them all on Sunday, but when I placed the order it said it would be delivered last Thursday, but she hasn't said she got it so I'm assuming it'll actually get to her this weekend...Mom never really expects anything and there should be a card included with a note from me so I am sure she would say something if/when she got it (and if she doesn't get it until Monday or something she will be even more pleasantly surprised!)
Well, it's a few things. We would really like benefits. The job would cover relocation to Florida, which is definitely something we're interested in. And the actual job sounded good.
Okay, we really need benefits.
Yay for msbelle and Mac getting to talk.
Sorry for Trudy's family, I hope she gets better soon.
Good luck to Dana's DH.
We're going to have a Mother's Day happy hour in my sister's backyard on Sunday. I'm considering making a Bakewell Tart, since I have all the ingredients for that.
Today's my day off. I took the dog for a nice run in the woods (only wore my bandana some of the time because it's just really hard to run with a mask on), did some yard work. Maybe I'll do some banking. Not sure what to do with the rest of my day, although I'm toying with the idea of trying to make poptarts at home, I found a recipe a while back.
California is going to mail out ballots to all residents. You don't have to vote by mail, according to the governor, but everyone has the option. Good state, have a cookie. (I've been permanent mail-in ballots since I moved back from Oregon.)
I feel incredibly guilty, but still. It's a pandemic!
You shared information, you didn't get the kid fired. You don't need to feel guilty!
Yeah, that isn't a guilt thing. You shared important public health information.
I'm sorry, Trudy.
Go Mac! Glad he called just to call. That's a huge thing for parents, especially with a kid who struggles.
I am heading back to work on Monday for reduced hours that won't affect pay. Given we can be classed as an 'essential' business, I'm surprised it took this long. I think we're taking precautions but I don't know that I trust my coworkers.
Okay, Stephen Miller's wife FOR SURE has coronavirus, and I really don't think it's too much to ask that he also get sick. And suffer. And maybe pass it along to Trump.
If Nancy Pelosi ends up President because she wore a damn mask I'll laugh until the earth falls into the sun.
I don't think Trump can get sick. He's like the Air Cav officer in Apocalypse Now; you just know nothing is going to happen to him.
Every so often I go to Fox News, and it's always interesting what a different world it is.
