Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

There were the usual duckling parades

I had to make way for ducklings the other night. A small troop of them were following mama across Rt. 2 the other evening while I was driving back from the bike path. They were very dark, and I didn't notice them against the pavement until almost the last moment. But I did, so no dead duckies.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Meanwhile, those who want a haircut but are observing the stay at home orders can get desperate. Steven Colbert's producer gets a home haircut. Best line: "You don't want to sever the medulla oblongata."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, birds

And apparently they're defying the governor's order.

There was some weird language about areas with low levels of infection (or something, that doesn't sound exactly right) being able to relax restrictions further if health officials agreed. I don't know if that's what's going on but I don't think it's a good idea. For my own habits, I'm concerned that my easy access to no contact delivery will be compromised...

I think there was something streaming today/tonight that I had in the back of my mind I would tune in for but I don't remember what it was. Hm.

SO, first furlough day was not filled with Doing Stuff Around the House like I had kinda hoped, but it was full of reading the new Murderbot book and that ain't bad. Back to work tomorrow, which is weird.
