One of the bars in our neighborhood is doing carryout cocktails in plastic pouches that they made Capri Sun labels for. They're ridiculous hipsters, but I love them.
Needless to say, we do not have carryout cocktails in Massachusetts! Although they are letting restaurants sell beer and wine to go.
Oh, ick. I just checked the Facebook page of the Capri Sun bar, and they're also selling quarts of something they're calling "peanut butter tequila." WHY, HIPSTERS, WHY.
It's kinda hard to process that COVID-19 has killed 75,000 people, and now people are starting to get shot for trying to enforce restrictions.
The NC leg refused to pass a bill that would have allowed takeout or delivery cocktails. Which is a small thing to be bummed about, but with all the everything it would have been nice. At least my local cidery has home delivery.

Humans need to be better.
The cocktail choices near me are not super exciting, but there are some. Couple of places are doing mimosas/bellinis/splits of champagne for Mother's Day, I may take advantage of that. My whole not-knowing-what-I-want-to-order-at-bars thing does not help, of course - I'm sure several places would be happy to mix up whatever for me if I called and asked!
I hope the fact that the shooters are getting hit with Premeditated Murder One has a chilling effect on that sort of thing.
Huh. Restaurants in my county can open for dine in next week. I don't know how to react to that.
I'm getting pretty good at making my own gin cocktails at home, and TCG will make them too now.
