Can we please send all of these people to jail for depraved indifference to human life?
Seriously, I know when this is past us there will be a push to just let it go and go forward, but I have so much bitterness and need for vengeance at this point.
That nice that your mom has a plan b for the kitty, askye. I can't even imagine with the retail! It will be some time before I do anything but curb pickup, except for the rare grocery stop.
Our community does a lot of socializing, but we pretty much live outdoors and people seem fine with distancing. I'm seeing the kids and DH's family, but not my siblings. My sister and brother here are both too frail to take any risks so we are hoping for visits by Christmas maybe.
Has anyone revisited "when to punch Nazis" in light of social distancing guidelines?
Same as before coronavirus; just make sure to wash your punching hand for 20 seconds afterward.
Might change the washing time to 40 seconds, but other than that go for it.
I don't know, makes me want to punch him and that would be exposure, right?
Poke him with a very long stick instead.

They ARE a danger to themselves and others.
Then there's the family in Michigan that shot and killed a guard who told them they needed to wear masks to go in the store - a Dollar Store?
edited to add: Yes, a Dollar Store in Michigan.
Good lord, seriously?
We just had a shelter in place within the shelter at home order (well, not me, the other end of town had a gas leak) so I guess the people who insisted on that wording are pretty pleased with themselves.
So, one of my urgent little fires at work this week is that I got a bunch of direct-to-consumer orders with PO Box shipping addresses that can't be delivered to for this customer (there are always a few but this week got a bunch because, well, decisions were made that are continuing to have repercussions and this is one of them) so I sent out the list and I've been getting emails back from the customer service reps that work for our customer with alternate addresses as the consumers get back to them and I am noticing that this is so much pleasanter than my other fires! We're all kind of working together, there are no veiled threats of non-payment, I get the satisfaction of actually fixing something, it's nice!
