You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'd just walk from place to place, eliminating assholes. And feel good about it.

Ah, living the dream...

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Your health is not more important than my liberties

That is rank absurdity.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Your health is not more important than my liberties

Applying that logic I should be at liberty to break the owner of the SUV's nose.

Which is tempting...

Wow, that's asshole-ery right there. (And this statement could apply to so many things above, sadly)

I survived surgery! Still feeling pretty nauseated despite an infusion of zofran and a scopolamine patch behind my ear, but hoping the triscuits I just ate will settle it a bit. My leg feels like someone sliced it open. Which is what they dod, so...yeah! Not sure about taking more painkiller since I don't yet have a full stomach to take it on, but also feeling like painkiller may not help a ton with the sharp stingy kind of pain? I'll give it a few.

I had conscious sedation and remember nothing but I do wonder if I said anything!

If I'm not mistaken, it's omnis' yahrzeit today

Shir I think you're correct. Sad.

Glad you made it through okay, meara. Rest well and recover fast!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

BevDOG! - yes I am taking the dog in the cabin. Most airlines don't take pets in the hold at all anymore, and certainly not smoosh-faced like Bostons. Miley is really too big for the cabin requirements - she is 25 lbs and I don't think will fit under the seat, so I am getting documentation that she is an emotional support animal. That allows me to have her on a leash in the cabin, but I want a carrier also.

I had a telemedicine appointment with my PCP scheduled for 4, and it's almost 5:30 and she's been indefinitely tied up with a complicated patient. At least I'm at home -- I don't mind waiting around, even this long, for a video appointment because at least I can get other things done while I'm waiting. In my Star Wars lounge clothes, of course.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I often wish we'd brought TC with us in the cabin. His vet said point blank he'd never survive the trip in hold. He wasn't too positive about cross country in the car, with each night in a strange motel, either. Ferals, even mostly-formal ferals, are hard. Good luck with Miley--she's going to love her new home. And I know you were reluctant to let her go.

Star Wars loungers FTW, esse!

Hope the pain meds do their job, meara.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Recovery~ma, meara!

I just can't with these "liberty" people.

Aw, Bailey. I'm glad you are getting her back, msbelle. This is a pretty elaborate foster fail!
