Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Nicolas Cage just got cast to play Joe Exotic in a TV series, because of course.

Hey. New board.

I agree with all the earlier teacher ranting.

I am trying to do the minimum I can do without getting in trouble, especially in my sophomore math class with students who mostly dislike math and are just trying to make it to graduation. They aren't learning, and there's not much I can do in this environment to really and honestly help them learn. I could pivot to something different - and maybe more meaningful - but that sort of thing requires energy and creativity, both things I am lacking hugely right now.

I have done better with my CS class in that respect. The subject matter transitions more easily.

Isn't the existing series quite enough? My son made me watch one episode, but couldn't make me watch any more.

Isn't the existing series quite enough?

this is my thought. it was literally JUST released docu series - must it IMMEDIATELY get a reboot? what - an actor re-telling?. I do not get it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

When she posted he had already left NZ for the UK. It looked to me that he didn't know she was going to answer questions about why he was no longer in the videos from NZ, which lots of people had noticed. It seems sort of odd to me for him to leave the country especially since both have posted in recent weeks that their kid was having a hard time with quarantine, but none of us really know what is going on.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have ... opinions about the Neil / Amanda drama. No surprise.

Atropa, I saw something you might be interested in - there's a YouTube channel for Ask a Mortician.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Well, AP+NG burned hot and fast for a long time. Not too surprising it would end the same way.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Didn't Twitter know they were dating before Gaiman did, also?

I want to say I was rooting for those crazy kids to make it work but to be honest I was not

anyone have specific chairs to recommend?

It can't beat a free one courtesy of Maria, but I've been much happier with this wooden banker's chair I got from Office Star than any other office chairs I've had: [link]

Looks like Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer have split up and she's already leaking messy drama.

Why would the split have changed that about her?
