Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

Go go Katerina Bee!

The news from Paradise is just so fucking heartbreaking. Over 600 people are missing.

Aww, scrappy that sounds adorable!!

I used my ATV scooter and went to a happy hour thing at the gay bar! But it was super crowded and hard to navigate or hear people talk, so my friend and I didn't stay long. But the ATV scooter is definitely better on sidewalks than the other one. That said, I've got annoying super painful spots where my scar is (and maybe some hardware?) and so far nothing is fixing it—ice, painkiller, different positions...grr

Oh: peppermint merengues at Trader Joe's. Highly recommend, but do not recommend eating 3/4 of the box at once. My tummy is in sugar shock.

Our wings are not tired.

The news from Paradise is just so forking heartbreaking. Over 600 people are missing.

They kept warning it was going to rise. Terribly heartbreaking. It isn't like they can devote resources to going in and looking for the dead. The families must be in a terrible state.

In lovely CA news, Orange County looks quite nice in Blue.

Yay playing in snow! I keep looking at the pictures in Otter Lake and want to buzz up there, but not happening with my current todo list. It is so good to hear you have a nice bunch of kids, Scrappy.

Oh: peppermint merengues at Trader Joe's.

For the next few weeks I may have to go there with a strict list and blinders. Or order for pickup!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We went from a 2-hour delay at 5am to full-on snow day at 7. Since I took my birthday as PTO on Monday, I've been to the office exactly once this week. Woo hoo!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got to walk through rain and slush, and per usual, had the wrong boots on. I just need to suck it up and get duck boots.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

It seems that kids of all kinds enjoy playing in snow.

Is anything cuter than a panda rolling around? I am happy to see other nominations.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We decided to take a snow day today, even though ltc's classes weren't canceled. She was very excited to see the snow this morning.

Our wings are not tired.

I remember so well the first time the boys saw snow. We were driving to NY from FL and hit snow in Maryland. We pulled into an office building parking lot and I taught the boys how to make snowballs to throw at their dad. Good times. They were maybe 7ish at the time.
