I saw this and thought of our own Atropa.

Give extra hugs to Cass for me!
~ma for all the California lungs being abused.
So the recount was a complete fiasco so far. First delayed because of the machine recount. So I drive to the designated location for the 4PM-8PM shift and find I have to park about 4 blocks away or so because half the parking area is filled with news trucks and the other half with obnoxious Trumphead protesters. Mill around for a while and talk to a few of the blue hatted volunteers. Register with one of them. Mill around. Then someone tells me they are filled up and can I come back at 8. Um, no. Hope you have your act together tomorrow.
I tried using an N95 mask earlier this year while cleaning out my moms shed, and it was hard to breath! I mean, it was also hella hot and humid, but having to wear a mask all the time sucks.
My ATV version of the scooter has been pumped up and will be tested out tonight!
Timelies all!
It snowed a good bit today. Bleah. It's raining now.
In other news, my new passport arrived today, in plenty of time for our cruise next month.
Yay passports! Yay all-terrain tires!

It sucks trying to breathe through it, but I guess I have no choice since the air quality and visibility is actually getting worse.
I think Glenda Roux, my Boston Terrier foster, has a family. I interviewed them last night and a home visit is being arranged. I can't do the home visit because they are 4 hours away. Decisions are still to be made if we wait until she is spayed or if we give them a voucher for the spay if the Rescue has a vet they use near them. I take her for her final round of puppy shots on Saturday and they will let me know if her skin is healed enough where they would do the spay, or if they want it to heal more.
It's too early for snow here in NYC.
Not in CT. We're expecting 4-7 inches. Have laptop, will work at home.
Give Cass a hug for me, Atropa. Have her hug you back. Proxy hugs, best I can do.
Laura, I hope things are more efficient and productive tomorrow.
I envy y'all's snow. We are desperate for ANY precipitation here in California.
Walking out of my office this afternoon was a real shock: the air smells and feels so horrible. I'm just holed up in my house, checking Purple Air pretty regularly.
