I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, that really is some bullshit!

I was reading about a Quaker meeting that was having online/Zoom meetings and one person asked another if they were meditating or if their computer froze up.

Heh.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That is definitely bullshit.

I am waiting for a doctor to show up at this telehealth visit, and she is running late, just like physical appointments. Yay better living through technology?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Straight up bullshit, -t. Can you tell someone in power why you were late to the signups and see if they'll help you out? Hope so, that seriously sucks.

hey! guess who has done none, absolutely none of college work for the whole semester?

You guessed it.

Not sure if he ever attended a class at all, but dropped or was dropped from his business class and is getting an AMAZING 0.00% in his music class (the one for the certificate he supposedly wants to get).

This means Any money I have gotten from the college savings account to pay his expenses is in violation of the tax law. He has to be taking at least 2 classes to be legally using those funds.

my son. the asshole.

Oh dear. He sounds like my friends' kids who are about that age. And honestly, like some of my friends at that age! They eventually got their acts together.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I guess I'm lucky that my primary care physician is not my prescribing doc. I'm due for a late June appointment with my psychiatrist, but even if things aren't open for regular visits, there will probably be a way to do a tele appointment. (I see her every six months, she gives me prescriptions for 90 days of meds, with one refill)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, msbelle. I'm sorry.

I doubt it, Epic. We have our dept weekly call tomorrow, maybe I will have an opportunity to complain then, but I don't really expect it. There's just too many of us, even cut in half as we are, for everyone to get something satisfactory unless we all agreed to each take a full week in alphabetical order or something.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm not opposed to getting a physical and bloodwork under normal goddamn circumstances. But considering we're in a pandemic, I feel like going to the doctor's office is something that can fucking WAIT. And I'm going to send them a message to that effect

I get to make that call as well. And with a new PA. I totally liked her and I'm cool with doing the bloodwork and other referral but the timing blows because we shut down a week after I met with her.
