That's very cool, Laura. If probably incredibly boring in practice.
I want to try the CBD oil, but I only walk by the most convenient place that sells it when they are closed.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Cool, Laura! Thanks!
I have incoming inventory on a vessel named Sam Diego Bridge. That seems confusing. Fun thing I learned this week - while the aluminum tariffs are not directly impacting my company yet, the spectre of them hitting in 2018 has led to a general increase in imports from China in 2018 which means containers are in short supply so we are having a hard time moving our goods from our factories to our ports because we can't get containers to ship them in. Yay.
I'm sure it will be boring, although meeting the people will be nice. They seemed very pleased that I could do workday type hours so I'll be doing noon to 8PM for the 4 days. I'm not holding out hope of changing the outcome, but it still needs to be done. I'm grateful my schedule is so flexible.
I'm trying to talk DH into CBD oil for his RA pain. He's stubborn!
Timelies all!
I don't know what I did to it, but my left shoulder hurts when I move it. Time to pull out the massager, I think.
Wicked Chronic's "business card" is postcard-sized and can be folded so you can use it to roll your joints. There was a whole bunch of options that I'd never considered, like CBD salves you can rub in, patches for slow absorption, and edibles.
And also you can vape, which according to the salesperson is the quickest way to take effect. (Which is pretty much true of any drug -- passing in through the lungs right into the bloodstream.)
However, I think I'll start out with a quarter dose at dinnertime, to see if it helps with painsomnia. ::tries to look brave::
Also, from reading an article in the Boston Globe about the imminent arrival of legal sales in MA (it's only been two years), that the counter-person in most MJ shops is called a budtender.
And sometimes THC is referred to as The High Causer. Well, that at least will help me keep that straight.

Tim has been taking it for his RA pain and says it helps. I order CBD oil capsules online because I really like the particular brand we use (called PlusCBD Oil Gold). I take it for anxiety, and it helps all but my worst anxiety spikes.
Ohio is weird on CBD -- even though CBD is not the psychoactive ingredient, the state pharmacy board said earlier this year that people in Ohio still could only purchase CBD products in the state from licensed dispensaries. But our dispensaries aren't open yet, because even though medical marijuana is legal in Ohio now, we can't get our shit together to get the dispensaries open. Even so, the pharmacy board isn't taking any action against people purchasing CBD online, so that's what I do.
OMG I was able to get my gym combination lock open with a mixture of fiddling with it and half-remembering that the combo almost made an equation. I am so proud of myself!
Good luck with all the CBD oil stuff! It's been legal here in Washington long enough that it seems weird to me that it's not, other places?
Go Laura keeping democracy democratic!!
Today was my first day home. So of course I had a migraine. Ugh. And now my ankle hurts but I am too lazy to go downstairs and try to find an ice pack.
Also also—Hec is in Humans of NY! I was scrolling through my fb feed and was like "huh that guy looks like Hec and the comment is about music and mix tapes, I wonder..." andthen saw JZ commenting! How cool! (Less cool that all the commenters want them to be married but)
I SAW THAT!!!!
