Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Same, Jesse.
Dang it, lost another post. Short version - I ate too much matzo ball soup
I'm just slightly worried that when I get into work tomorrow, I'll find out the place is even more locked down than it was, because one of the residents tested positive.
There's already a stash of PPE onsite if we have to quarantine someone in their apartment.
Mostly likely noone is going to test positive, because pretty much if they did, they'd be so sick -- these are not robust people at all, since you don't get into assisted living without some pretty bad preconditions. But I'm still worried.
(I talk about this here because Facebook is a bit too "public" with too many local people that could identify where I work, et cetera.)
Our Easter Zoom call with Tim's family was loud and chaotic (20 people, including babies) and it really left me frazzled and sad, and I can't shake it. I might just try to go to bed early.
I hope everyone is ok and you can continue to take the precautions you are used to, Theo.

Oh, Tep. That sounds so hard. Appropriately-socially-distanced hugs in an amount you can tolerate.
Thank you, Natterers, for basically letting me use this place as my Covid diary. I should try to pull it all together into one coherent piece (I know people on social media have been recommending keeping diaries or journals because this timeline is so strange, so abnormal that we need to write it all down before we all forget), but I don't have the spoons for it yet.

Just threadsuck it and fix it in a few years.
Signed, probably should grab things from archived threads of the 2004-2005 era.
In related news, tomorrow, my child will be 15. What is time even?

At least according to David Byrne.
Happy birthday to the cutest little teen lemur!
My customary come-and-go articulateness seems to have settled on gone for a good while, and I'm finding it harder to comment, far more easy to nod and scroll. So I apologize for reading and not holding up my corner of the conversation.
Beverly, you have summed up my feelings quite succinctly, there.
I'm just so glad you're all here; I'm sorry I'm not able to participate as much as years past. But it doesn't diminish the regard I hold for all of you.
