Come on out, River. The nice man wants to kidnap you.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

What everyone else has said. So much love and strength to you, JZ. I'm so sorry.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh Trudy, six adults is a whole lotta people in any house that doesn't have wings and an overabundance of bathrooms.

2.5. And the .5 is in the basement with jillifonts, a wonky seat, and a door that nobody wants to close. It DOES have a picture of Kenny Loggins Jesus by the light switch so that livens things up in emergencies.

JZ, you'll say the right thing.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

JZ, I am so sorry. My love to you and your family.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And, in another post, I am too angry. Well, bouncing between anger and being grateful for what I do have (and that's a lot). Other than sports, I have nothing to do with that anger.

I'm thinking buying flowers tomorrow and leave some for my neighbors in the building for the holiday (with gloves and all, of course).

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm so sorry, JZ. My heart aches for you and your family.

Ann, that's a ferret.

My condolences, JZ and family.

Our wings are not tired.

Holding you in my heart and sending strength and love, JZ.

I'm angry for Melanie, for JZ's family, for all of us. And just so, so, so deeply sad.

It's most jarring swinging back and forth between the anger and the sorrow.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Up at 6:45! Who knows why!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've basically been practicing social isolation my whole life. This is my time.

Me too. I came into this thing already an expert.

I'm about to go hug and cuddle the stuffing out of Matilda for the first time in two weeks.

Oh. Tears on my face.

some of those numbers are us

Different tears. I'm so sorry, JZ.

Which is freaking huge because in the past this level of anxiety wouldn't have even registered with me as being anxiety it would have just been my normal. In the past I would have gotten to the point of almost being barely able to function and also super anxious that no one would believe I needed help.

askye, you've made amazing admirable progress and you deserve to be proud of yourself.

This all could have turned out so differently. It didn't have to be like this.

It really didn't. I hope that fact is not forgotten. Under all the anxiety, I'm really really angry.

But in better news

Happy birthday, Amy!!
