Apparently they decided since nobody was having surgery they'd fit my sister in today! They'd initially said Monday, but she sent me a message that she was already on her way home! She only has to be off her ankle for six weeks though, and I figure other than the surgery part, she picked a good time for it—nothing else going on!
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Tom!

Since she already announced it on FB, I feel okay say that JZ's temperature is finally normal.
Now her watch is ended.
I had to go hiking and a searchin' to find a new thermometer as the old one had gone wonky.
Thank god for the secretively tucked away compounding pharmacy at UCSF, as they had a small stash of thermometers.
Tomorrow will be her third day of normal temps so then she can move about and donate her antibodies.

I tried to go to the big indie grocery store during lunch but the parking lot was full and there was a line! So instead I stopped at the little bodega and bought cheese, coconut milk, tahini, and an It's It! Love those things.
I keep bookmarking mask-making guides. Argh. Today I wore my bright orange bandana over my face.
Happy birthday, Tom!

I'm glad JZ's looking to be on the mend.
Conference call on Monday with the Managing Director on the future of Operations. That should be interesting.
yikes
I'm hoping he doesn't mean to be that ominous?
Welp, that's my first 8 hours working since being out sick for a week. I am exhausted, but more emotionally than physically, I think. I might need to order takeout from somewhere that has cocktails...

This is a wonderful thing.
