Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Today's been another wonderful day here, with Mr. S waking up at 7 and being generally disruptive. I have a scratch on my face and another on my arm from Nova trying to get away from him(He tends to be a bit rough with her, lying on her, grabbing her fur and tail, etc.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

This weekend, I finally feel like I have a thing to do that makes me feel helpful. We are spending the weekend developing a course for RNs who are out of the workforce to come back and work. Which is scary that we are preparing for, but we "own" a whole bunch of rural hospitals throughout Western NY who are really going to need resources if they get stressed. They are pretty short handed to begin with.

Thrive to spite them

Well crap I got a call back from the unemployment office and missed the call. the voicemail had a different number to call and when I Was going to write it down my cheek accidentally touched the delete button and I deleted the voicemail. Forever. So now I h ave to wait until Monday to call and get back in the damn queue. This is the one thing I hate about my phone, my face touches it and I am constantly either muting people or accidentally deleting voicemails.

and I am just completely stuck with cabin fever I want to do something I am not sure what it is. Maybe I'll go walk down to the end of the street and back

I was going to walk all the way down to the whistlestop cafe but I got to one point and saw a clump of people and turned around and then walked down the other way to the parking area for the swamp rabbit trail and it was PACKED. No one is practicing social distancing here.,

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We went out for a drive. Saw more cars on the road than I was expecting, and a lot of people walking. Most people seemed to be social distancing except a few clumps of teenagers. Now ltc is out with TCG, riding her bike.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh, askye, how infuriating (both the oversensitive phone and the not-distancing crowds).

My dad apparently had an uneventful night, and his arterial blood gases (checking the levels of, well, various gases in his blood, to get a better sense of lung and heart function) and O2 levels are slightly improved. So, we keep waiting.

JZ, continued good thoughts.

The mayor of my city had to close all the parks for anything other than trail walking because redneck idiots were congregating at the lake and partying as if were Memorial Day weekend.

JZ I'm glad he had an uneventful night.

I was just thinking is there anyone who hasn't checked in on the board in awhile? I'm suddenly blanking but I feel like there may be people who haven't posted in a bit.

Gudanov's radio silence worries me, but Allyson was posting to facebook just the other day.
