I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Even better: Trump says he wants to reopen the country by Easter so all of the churches can be packed.

Thrive to spite them

I was talking to Matthew's mom about something she had seen in the news and then she said - "if you go back to work next week you'll be exposing yourself to this and we should treat you like you are infected" and I told her that's true. If I go back to work I should take a shower as soon as I get in, wash my clothes immediately, not sharea bed with matthew, not prepare food, and try to keep to myself as much as possible.

I don't think that's the answer she was looking for.

I really really don't want to go back to work on Tuesday but McMasters has no intention of issuing a shelter in place order so we may go back. Although other states the store is in are under shelter in place orders so I don't know how that will effect things.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

A lot of retailers are keeping their stores closed through May from what I'm hearing on the supplier side, askye. Hopefully Belk will be one of them. Unfortunately they aren't one of mine so I don't have any actual knowledge. But fingers crossed!

I'm tempted to suggest to askye that she offer to pitch a tent in the yard ... that way she couldn't possibly infect the mom. No contact ... no food preparation or anything else inside. But I'm kind of a bitch so ....

-t Thanks for that. I don't know what is going to happen. I hope that ifthey decide to be closed longer they will pay us even on reduced hours it's better than nothing.

Honestly if I could get a bed in the computer room I could deal with staying in here for most of the time.

I have a job for right now and some pay and I'm grateful. It's just this is soo.... I don't do well with not having any idea of what will happen or not being able to think too far in the future.

I did however cull through some books and clothes I am ready to get rid of so that made me feel a little better.

On the bright side, I dealt with a medical person who USED COMMON SENSE! I have a bunch of prescriptions I take and I haven't been to the doctor for almost a year. I'm completely out of one and the others expire at the end of April. I'd planned on making an appointment in April ... but I figured they wouldn't be taking regular appointments until things settle down. I went through the phone tree and jumped through all the hoops to have someone authorize the pharmacy to give me a new prescription. They said I'd have to have the pharmacy contact them. So I called the pharmacy and went through their phone tree. Then I got a text from the pharmacy saying that the medical provider wouldn't let me get a new prescription without an appointment. So I called them back and explained the situation; they aren't making any appointments until after May 18. BUT, since I did get someone with some common sense, she contacted the pharmacy and I should get my prescriptions ... she said tomorrow, but this week will do fine. (There's one prescription I got last summer for a respiratory infection that I'm over ... and I had a bad reaction to it ... but they keep trying to re-proscribe it for me ... bah!)

Timelies all!

Health~ma to your dad, JZ.

I was home today and Mr. S has been awful, again. I did get the small amount of work done that I had to do.

Glad to hear your dad's condition looks promising, JZ. That is mega-scary, especially now!
