I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've been sitting here with a low to moderate level of stress for a couple of years, and I'm honestly not sure if I remember what it feels like to not be stressed.

Since Wednesday, I've felt really happy, in a way I haven't felt in a long time. I described it to my therapist as "sparkly happy." I just feel lighter, emotionally, than I have in a long time. BUT I'm also kind of braced for the next shitty thing that will bring that all crashing down, and *that* feeling sucks.

t edit What's weird -- and yet 100% UNsurprising -- is that my brother had a very similar session with *his* therapist yesterday. So we continue to share a brain and a mental illness.

Last day to join the MoFo Gift Exchange. Now is also the time to share with me any match restrictions participants may want (no one will get matched with who they had last year, but other than that I have made no limits), also the time to ask any pressing questions and the time to let me know if you are interested in being part of the MoFo Mayhem Elves.

I've been buying green grapes from my stressing eating of wanting sweet things. so far it is kinda working. A lot of my stress eating is actually just wanting something RIGHT NOW that is easy and grapes are SO that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, no matter what happened, people at work should not be yelling at you.

Thank you. It was more frustrated slightly heated talking, but still. Booooo, coworker.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Here in LA it's February 18th to 22nd for the rainy season. Not the start, that's the whole thing.

Yep. It used to rain every time I came to the Bronze Posting Board Party, which I think was scheduled for President's Day Weekend every year. I started to feel like that truck driver in the Dirk Gently novels.

Next time I post a TO DO list like:

TO DO LIST

- schedule oil change
- shower
- laundry - two loads
- pay bills
- clean bathroom - finished
- lunch

Remind me that I REALLY need to pay the bills. I was scared I was late on a few things so of course I put it off more. Well, I WAS late and putting it off made me late on 2 more! GD self.

oh well, paying directly now and we will see what the checking balance is when done and if I can set up the next round of things due.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Anyone want to help me figure out what dessert to bring for Thanksgiving? It needs to complement standard Tgiving pies, so maybe something lighter? Preferably no nuts.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, I was just looking at thanksgiving desserts on Serious Ests earlier today, lemme see if I can find that again. I think there was a cranberry trifle I was into.

oh oh oh I wanna help.

I need to plan a menu also. No one but me really cares about making all the traditional stuff so I thought I might just cook all that stuff for me for the whole damn month and do something else that day. Starting next year I may on my own for the holidays and be able to have it however I want without feeling like I am imposing my will on others.
