I just don't. At first it was because I couldn't afford it, and now, it is just because there is no cheap parking at work- I would need to park off-site and be bussed, and pay my job more than the cost of a buspass a month, so why not just take the bus from my house to work and use the money for other things.

Jacqueline has tested positive, so we're under strict quarantine for the next two weeks.
Her fever has been manageable (so far), not spiking too high. Hopefully her body can ride through this without anything serious. [knock wood]
Matilda and i don't have any symptoms. But we're definitely going to get stir crazy.
Oh no! ~ma and safe healing vibes to her, and stay healthy vibes to your household and also the docs she works with!
Oh no! Much health ~ma for the whole household.
I'm glad she got tested so you know definitively that JZ has Covid-19 (and so the doctors can be informed), but that still sucks. It sounds like she's in the 90% (or is it 80%?) of people who just feel like crap for a week and then recover.

That's definitely been the way it's presented with her so far. None of those high spiking fevers. Even the cough has been manageable.
She's been isolated in the bedroom since she got the fever, and was already working most of the time up there.
I'm hearing that Ohio's governor is going to have a press conference at 2:00 today and is going to shut the state down. Honestly, it needed to happen a week ago. I hope it's not just a rumor.
Oh, no! Health~ma to JZ.
Oh, no! Tons of health~ma to JZ and the whole family!
Health-ma to JZ and Quarantine-ma to you and Matilda.
They've just declared a state of emergency here. No gatherings larger than 5 people, and giving the cops the ability to fine those who are defying orders around assembly and social distancing. They're also shutting the border to non-essential travel. (Being a peninsula, it's pretty easy to control the main routes in, if you want to rock up to a beach on a boat, you can probably make it in.)
We've only had 28 cases confirmed so far. So they're trying to get ahead of it.
