So I am officially work from home.
Phew!!
We got a message today that they are actually going to be tracking and reviewing who badges into U buildings -- I assume because some faculty will try to get their staff to come in with them, and some scientists will insist on keeping working. Yikes!
JZ, take care of yourself. I hope it is something random and goes away soon.
I'm sorry Matilda didn't get in.
Sophia, I'm glad you can WFH.
Oh, so sad for Matilda. May another window open for her.
And for Jessica's family: peace and strength to you all.
I fear we will all need peace and strength soon.
Poor Matilda. I am heartbroken for her.
What school could possibly not want her and consider itself lucky to get her? I don't understand.
I asked Matilda what Emmett said. She said, "He said he was sorry. And he cried a little bit. And then he changed the subject."
Maybe that's all anybody needs. Validation. Empathy. Moving forward.
Yeah, he's right up there with Mr. Darcy as Greatest Big Brother Ever.
Awwww, she just checked her messages and said, "Alex got in!"
Very excited for her friend from her class who did get in. Not resentful.
David, I don't know if Emmett even remembers me, it was so long ago that I saw him last. But please tell him I am so incredibly proud of him, if/when you get a chance.
He's had fine role models and he clearly makes the world a better place.
Oh no. So sorry for Matilda. (And yes, you are raising wonderful humans there).
As for COVID-19 symptoms, in case it helps to know, and because the seasons are now changing and it brings all sorts of colds and illnesses: many people who has it are apparently also losing their apatite and their senses of smell and taste for at least a week.
The bus is now free and we are entering the back door? Not sure how this helps.
I believe it supposed to protect the bus driver and keep passengers away from them.
