I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Our wings are not tired.

The boys made me watch it repeatedly as kids do, and I didn't mind.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I just made chicken tenders with a proper three-step coating including toasted panko, and I have to say, it was worth it! But I hate throwing out the leftover egg, etc.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

So there seems to be an idea that since I'm off work until at least the 30th and I'm getting paid I should go to the beach, in Florida.

I wouldn't. Between all the recommendations against unnecessary travel and the quantity of spring breakers who have been in Florida anyway that seems like a bad idea.

One thing about WFH. It does make dealing with a migraine a little easier. Not that I did much more than keep up with emails.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

In regard to the fathers (any mothers?) who are not taking precautions, I saw a story about an older couple - in their 70s, I believe - who announced to their adult daughters that they'd booked and were still planning on taking a cruise this month. Leaving from a virus hotspot. Both daughters called them up and yelled at them until they decided that maybe they should cancel.

My family had that exact same conversation a few weeks ago. The cruise was supposed to be last week.

My university keeps sending out new emails with lists of online teaching resources that we can use or can't use, or things that we must do or must not do. Twice now, I've gotten something set up and then gotten an email that said that I can't use it.

Because books.

Question: if I was off my meds (Prozac and Wellbutrin) for two weeks, could going back on them mess with my moods/emotional balance? Or is more probably just stress and anxiety?

Going off and then back on Prozac can absolutely mess with your moods. I don't know about Wellbutrin, but I'd guess that it could, too.

One of my friends is sick. (She's also a genealogist -- we met when we were talking about genealogy on Facebook, and recognized each other's last names, and figured out that, while we're not actually related to each other, there have been at least three or four marriages between my cousins and her cousins.) She's got all the symptoms of coronavirus. And she's been told that they'll be able to test her in a few days, because they've got to ration the tests at the moment.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Good luck to everyone dealing with recalcitrant parents. And kids, but at least kids can't sign up for cruises on their own.

Speaking of kids, it's great to hear how the Next Gen Buffistae are doing.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Scrambling to get my work stuff together to start WFH tomorrow so I'm just driving by, but this article came up in a newsletter this morning:

How to Snap Your Parents Out of Their Coronavirus Denial

And I thought some of you might find it useful. NB: I haven't actually had time to read it myself, so grain of salt and all that.
