I'm very sorry if she tipped off anyone about your cunningly concealed herd of cows.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The governor of MA has shut down all restaurants and bars in MA for on site consumption.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I hope meara is able to get back into the country without a multihour screening.

hip deep in pie

I am waiting on the bus situation. I am essential so I have to go in tomorrow, but if there is no bus there is no going in. It would take me 3 hours and 7 minutes to walk, and everyone has agreed that is crazy. If they need me, they will have to come and get me.

Can you take a cab and be reimbursed for it? It's worth asking, if you're considered essential.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tim's dad's retirement community robocalled to say they're not allowing any visitors effective immediately. It's a good move.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I hope meara is able to get back into the country without a multihour screening.

That seems unlikely, right?

Definitely see about cab reimbursement, Sophia!

I can't believe they are shutting down bars here, but it feels like the horse has left the stable after this weekend.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The Planet Fitness around the corner had plenty of cars in the parking lot, and the hipster diner was full at 1 pm. I despair. There were also a ton of people in the regional park on a rainy day, so I assume they were all people who were distancing in the outdoors.

Now I am on the couch with a hot toddy and an amusing MCU AU involving the Holy Grail and Natasha as an archaeologist...

We found almost everything on our grocery list (Trader Joe's had no pine nuts, but I think we'll manage to soldier on somehow), despite completely barren aisles. I don't know if we eat weird food that doesn't get sold out, or what.

The toilet paper aisle at Meijer was so empty that cereal was stocked on those shelves. It was weird.

Thrive to spite them

Mom is supopsed to move at the beginning of April. I dont' know if she will still be able to but I hope she will. I want to go up and get some of my stuff and see her but I don't dare get close to her. I mean I know she's been out and about but I don't want to drag my South Carolina germs up to her.
