Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Our wings are not tired.

I just spent a half hour putting together my Whole Foods delivery order to find out delivery is suspended. Sigh.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just checked to make sure my parents church was cancelled. They would've been ushering.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was laughed off for being irrational over expressing worries/slight disgust about double dipping of food and sharing of utensils with people I don't share fluids with.

Save a seat for me at the irrational table. If I'm not cool with sharing a bed (or wasn't when I had nightmares as a kid), I'm not cool with sharing a spoon.

NOPE NOPE NOPE to double dipping or sharing utensils. Ew. Gross.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thank you. After two friends were all "well, it's a matter of personal preference/a cultural thing/yes, you're being slightly irrational", I was beginning to question the health norms I follow.

I mean, it really is slightly gross and a violation of boundaries.

well, it's a matter of personal preference

Yes, I personally prefer not to share your germs!

DH made me print out my Whole Foods order that can't be delivered and he is going there physically to shop!

Thrive to spite them

I went out and panic bought a few things. Wal mart had TP and paper towels but not a lot of cleaning supplies, no flour and no yeast. I want yeast. I didn't buy many canned things since I have a freezer and wanted to save that but then I think I could have bought better. I don't know.I did get some cat litter and cat food -and that aisle was decimated as well. And I had to struggle to find tea bags. Lots of decaffinated. I came home and told Matthew and his mom we have to cut the strength of ice tea we are making.

Some people were just picking up a few things but I don't really want to go out again and we should be ok for awhile. Plus it means if we do need to go get stuff we can just get in and out quickly.

What is even happening?

I don't think they'd tell us if he tests positive.
You don't think his urge to whine and complain would overrule any political thought? I guess they could take his phone again.

I don't they'd tell us. The negative result he's announced means nothing to me.

He'd lie because of his own vanity, because of his need to never be wrong (and he'd see a positive test as evidence of that). He'd lie because he's him.

edit: parenthesis placement

Exactly. I expect they did make him take a test, but he will need to be retested if indeed he was negative this time.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I made a supermarket run after lunch today. They were out of chicken yesterday, but had restocked so I picked up a couple packages of breasts. (I also bought ice cream, mac-and cheese, paper plates and chips. Not to mention my prescription that had automatically refilled, even though I still have a fair number of them. Better safe than sorry.)
