There are almost no customers here today. Again it's mostly senior citizens. Although I'm now in a corner and can't see as many people coming through. The mall is dead. We had Lysol in the public bathrooms but that's stopped because ppl were stealing it.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I think the temptation has passed, Cindy. My fundamental too-lazy-to-put-on-shoes nature may keep me safe.
The Downtown Theater is postponing all of its performances for 2 weeks and the local Senior Center is closed (which I get, it's function is mostly social, but I'm a little concerned about their regular patrons). It's reassuring to see some action being taken.
My U sent a message to students to say they are closing the dorms and cancelling all in-person student activities. They have not told the faculty/staff any of this. We only know because some people have children who are students here.
We were already online-only, but the dorms are a whole new level, and they are not letting international students stay. It's get out by Monday.
I can't decide if this is just incompetence, or if they've discovered a case on campus.
Closing the dorms? Where are students supposed to go?
I just retrieved my book on hold at the library. There were WAY more DVDs there than I thought there would be. (I still didn't check any out.)
The groom of tonight's wedding texted me and said he's feeling somewhat less anxious today. For him, that's a win.
That is awful.
If anyone on here knows of people nearish me with kids in this situation, I have 2 free bedrooms and am happy to open my home.
Not letting international students stay? Good grief, that's super rough for them (well, and for anyone who's supposed to pack up their dorm last minute but...yikes!)
I am still in Mexico. Wondering if I should stay. It's sure way more chill here than it sounds like anywhere else. Alternately wondering if I should buy a new suitcase and smuggle in Clorox wipes for resale.
Welp. Our school district just extended Spring Break by a week. E-learning for the upper grades.
I clearly need to set a schedule for my days now that I'm WFH, because staying up late noodling around since I don't have a commute isn't working out for me.
I have to give a shout-out to anyone who lives with anxiety all the time, because I've never been anxious like this before, and I hate it! How do you all function???
I mean, I'm tired all the time?
Also, you're quitting smoking, Jesse? High-five!
Yay for Jesse! And for Jesse's respiratory system!
Boo, anxiety.
