Spring training is suspended as well, along with most of the basketball conference tournaments. They cancelled the Big East tournament at halftime of the St.Johns-Creighton game.

Everybody should cancel their travel plans right now. It's just going to get worse during April.
People should not be congregating.
I am expecting Matilda's schools to declare an early and extended spring break soon. They've been trying to keep the school's open because that's where a lot of kids get their meals, and it's very disruptive to hourly-paid parents to miss work. But...I'm confident they will call it soon.

My city canceled the St. Patrick's Day parade too. For a smaller city it is a huge parade every year.
