But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

Now tagless for your comfort.

A coworker gave me a nice thank you at the Library today!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds fun, Laura!

I support your assessments, Jesse

Cookie! That's awesome, Cashmere!

A coworker bought me lunch for helping her with something yesterday. It took me approximately two minutes to do the thing but I am trying to graciously accept her gratitude.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh, I read that as bear joint, not beer joint, the first time through.

That jollied me out of my funk over Warren, a little. I have to respect her wisdom and decision-making, but I'm more than a little in mourning for What Could Have Been.

Our wings are not tired.

That's adorable, Cashmere!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all !

Thing I never thought I would say, part whatever: "You can stop cleaning the sink now, Mr. S"

Kids are weird.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Today's trip to the podiatrist went well. He told me I can just wait and see regarding my banged-up toenail as long as it doesn't get painful or infected, as it's probably about 6 months out from being completely detached by the new nail growing underneath. In the process of examining he trimmed it WAY shorter than I ever would have, especially at the corners, so it feels weird and uncomfortable though not exactly painful.

We laughed about it changing colors under different lights and me calling it a mood toenail. In his office it had an orange-ish cast. More yellow under the lights at work, purplish at home, and a particularly ghastly shade of green at my GP's office, which caused the intern shadowing him to gasp out loud when I pulled my sock off.

You know you've achieved something when you shock and dismay an intern who's dissected a medical cadaver recently!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You know you've achieved something when you shock and dismay an intern who's dissected a medical cadaver recently!

That's some toenail!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Cash - that's funny because I know a Lisa Story.

RE: Timothy Hutton - NO! ugh why must everyone suck.

RE: Warren. fuck fuck and fuckity fuck. I do like that she is not rushing to endorse anyone. I am only giving money to women candidates moving forward. I am only volunteering for women candidates and I am only voting for women candidates (unless they are evil).

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's a great gift, Cashmere.
