Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I watched Dodgers/Giants today. Happy to have baseball back.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

A bit late, but: congrats msbelle and Toddson!

To sum up the last few days: I am, for one, wonder at my own foolishness at times. I was supposed to study for a make-up to raise a grade (I did not fail, but I need more than a C. Even if algebra is included). Then again, I was also with a really bad migraine for 48 hours and it took another 24 hours to recover from it, so no studies happened, but I was still somehow convinced that I can cram everything into a 36 hours session. Yesterday night, after starting to feel better, I realized that I was very wrong. I just emailed school administration asking how to handle this since not coming to be tested = automatic failure in class, but I'm sure that a note from my doctor would help.

Also, damn you, body.

(As for the grade - well, I'll just have to get A and A+ in 2-3 classes next semester, but you know what? None of them includes algebra, only words, and I'm good with words and remembering historical/sociological/logical/philosophical scenarios).

Anyways, here's hoping I won't have to fail a class tomorrow. And for maybe understanding sooner that I can't do everything before it becomes an administrative issue.

Edit: still no answer from school admin., but damn. more than 24 hours after the migraine ended people at work told me I'm looking pale and not in best of health. While I still feel like 20% of me is recovering, I had no idea the after effect can show like this.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Looking at new rug for my living room area. The floor and walls are grey, couch is darkish green with grey cover, chairs are a goldish yellow - this room opens into the eating area is which has a lots of pastel pink, some turquoise, and some pale yellow/blue/green.

I want some bright colors added in and something that will work with both rooms. These rugs are all pretty different.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm generally fond of Oriental, but #1 is my favorite from these choices.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

2 or 4.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

1, 2, or 4, would be my preference.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm with Amy. If you think the colors work 3 is pretty great.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shir, I hope your administration is reasonable and you are feeling better!

And I like #1 -- no help at all!
