Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Msbelle- sorry if I abandoned you mid PowerPoint- I was doing classroom work all day and couldn't sit at a computer.

I have the weirdest job. Right now I am doing a lot of supporting active learning in the classroom (rather then lecture). So being in the classroom, and helping the professor divide people into groups, and walk around and facilitate and help with the technology if people have trouble learning it. I really like this, so I hope I can do more of it!

Also, I have been on Facebook for five minutes, and I have made four condolence comments (3 pet and 1 friend), plus Connie Neil's Birthday , plus the anniversary of (can't remember her board name, but do not want to Dox her)'s husband's traumatic death. Seriously heartbreaking social media.

no worries - the PP will be there tomorrow. and the next day and the next day.

pulling the policy into well worded bullet points is my biggest struggle now - that and deciding if the way they divided up in the policy is really the best way to present it.

I think it would help to pull all the individual points out & organize as a natural, logical narrative (rather than the legalized format that was undoubtedly written by a committee of ppl who were each assigned a section & not talking to each other & frankly is weirdly organized.) This is what this covers, broadly. This is why. Here are the main things you need to know & the subtleties within each.

Basically, organize that shit. After reading the doc, how would you summarize it so you could easily know where to look for an answer?

Apologies if that's what you're already doing. I hafta put together reports where 15 different ppl are sending me info & wrangle their disparate things into something that make cohesive sense & gets to the point. So I have a Strategy.

I agree with Sara- it is weirdly organized by people who want to be able to point to the policy when people fight their reprimands. I imagine what you want to do is encourage people to follow the policy, eliminate unnecessary absences, but not scare the living bejeezus out of people.

SO maybe- what should I do if I have the flu? What should I do if I need to be absent? What can I do to if my mother is sick and I need leave. What should I do if my child is sick and I need leave?

Not sure this would work given what you are given... for the job, they might want someone who is just informing people of the policy.

Also, now Deb G's kitty has passed. That is three online kitty friends in one day.

Bonus points: add footnotes citing policy #s.

I am reorganizing it a bit I think, but I think not too much.
