Herding cats for fun

Was just reminiscing about Connie and her brilliant snark. Sad too.

My work computer has PowerPoint 10 if that's helpful.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

not a great day for me doing stuff. I slept in past 9 and now it is 12:30 and all i've done is feed myself and the dog and spend time on social media.

I'm going to get dressed now and head out with the dog to get dog food and have a little walk.

it wasn't with Yang

Yang seemed like he was stuck in the dems friend zone. Everybody seemed to like him, just not in that way.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oy, Connie N..

In much lesser news, I'm happy to report that spotting an ex across the hall and avoiding meeting him completely maneuver was successful. While I don't mind meeting him in general, today was not a day for this (very, very surprising) encounter.

What is even happening?

Yang seemed like he was stuck in the dems friend zone. Everybody seemed to like him, just not in that way.

I feel like he kind of belongs in the friend zone, for now. My near constant refrain about both him and Steyer has been: run for something smaller first and prove yourself as an elected official.

I feel the same way about Pete, who I like to say is "cookie dough." He's been a mayor, but he's been a mayor of South Bend Indiana. There's stuff between jobs of that size and the presidency (felt it a little about Beto too, who also had the vibe of the really bright guy who just never manages to do the reading; whereas that is not problem with Pete, who learns a foreign language so he can do unassigned supplemental reading).

They're all better than Orange Julius, but it wasn't like the field wasn't big without these guys.

Sounds right to me.

I did not like Beto for Pres, but am so happy that he is now traveling Texas getting people registered and focusing on flipping the State house. More popular failed candidates need to do the same. State Houses are so vital for reproductive, LGBTQ, housing, education, medicaid expansion.

Agreed. I think he's great, just not ready for prime time.

I wish that's what Yang, Steyer, and Bloomberg would pour their time, money, and other resources into voter registration and fighting voter suppression or the like.

Punishingly Intricate

My thoughts exactly,Cindy. Bloomberg should give his billions to Stacy Abrams efforts.
