Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks, Jesse and meara!

I keep forgetting it's my birthday because I am so stressed about work. No bueno

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I do have a happy light and I have not been using it. Good reminder (though not nearly the same as actual sunshine sadly)

Oh yeah, surely not! My coworker just came back from Aruba, which seems like such a good idea! I'm not having a beach vacation until April, which now seems way too late.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am on day two of not wanting to do anything. I forgot meds yesterday which is not great, so I made sure to take them first thing this morning.

I knew I would crash from the whirlwind of the last month, but I hate to just sit for a whole day.....and yet, doing something else seems like a mountain.

So I am putting it out here for accountability.

I will shower and wash dishes and either apply for at least one job or unpack at least one more box.

There.

Epic, you need a thimble! Not that I've ever been able to use one. But, you know, theoretically one saves your skin from punctures and things.

I have one! But I'm not good about using it. Plus I generally use it on the side that's on the back side of the fabric to avoid stabbing it. My new dent is on the other hand - it's like the callus you get from using a pen, except much more concentrated, because width of a needle. I think it may actually be a bit of a blood blister, but because it's under my pen callus, it's taking a while to work its way to the surface.

I do have a happy light and I have not been using it. Good reminder (though not nearly the same as actual sunshine sadly)

As my house did not burn down, you're always welcome to couch surf to our sunshine, meara! Though I think Laura's may be a bit more consistent.

Not acceptable! You need birthday happiness! I insist that the stress knocks it off! Pronto!

That sounds like a good amount of stuff to do. I'm sure you need the rest! But then it's easy to get in the habit of not doing anything and falling into the doldrums, I know.

My rule when not working was always to leave the house every day, at least for a quick errand or short walk.

I just had a quick call with my money guy (lol), where I was like, I'm good, everything's fine, I have plenty of money. He said he wishes he had more clients like me. I was like, Listen, I started out making $10/hour. I'm good!

I should really institute that rule for myself. For just, like Saturdays and so forth.

Go msbelle, do a little bit of something!

I have four(4) [4! Muahaha < /The Count > ] slides in my presentation for tomorrow. Getting somewhere!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My rule when not working was always to leave the house every day, at least for a quick errand or short walk.

I had that rule when I started working from home, but then winter happened, and I realized that I am not going outside in the winter if I don't have to. If that makes me a feral hermit, so be it. (I just really, really hate being cold.)

This is a very good rule. I might need to institute it for either Saturday or Sunday if I have a weekend with nothing scheduled. I like having one stay-home-do-(relatively)nothing day, but I feel like when I don't leave the house for two days, I'm getting too close to full-hermit-mode.

Go, -t, go! Powerpoint like the wind!
