Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It was not a good show.

Ugh. I really need it to be vacation time already. Not so much because I need the vacation, but because I can feel myself being depressed and getting nothing done and just playing lots of solitaire on my iPad, which then makes me feel ridiculous (why is that any more ridiculous than playing sudoku or doing jigsaw puzzles, or any other game? No idea, but it feels more futile somehow??) and I NEED SOME SUNSHINE. I feel like my brain is slodging through muck.

Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment to find out the results of the bone scan. Here's hoping the answer is something easy, and not either of the two extremes I would hate, either "sorry you have to not walk on it for a month" or "sorry, it looks pretty normal, try doing more PT exercises maybe that'll help?". But we'll see??

Helpful answers~ma, meara!

So this is my Tuesday's from now on. The cookware must flow. Starbucks have my ordered-ahead sandwich to someone else by mistake, so I see how things are going

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, meara!

Also, have you tried one of those lights?

Our wings are not tired.

No! Shame on Starbucks. They should be singing Happy Birthday to you not screwing up your order. Also, may the rest of your birthday be grand, -t.

I hope you get good answers, meara. Wish I could send you some sunshine. We got plenty to spare.

Yesterday was so much a Monday. Here's hoping to not get a repeat today.

Ha, thanks Laura. They were really nice about it and I appreciated that the guy actually knew what had happened to it, I just was trying not to be late because I have a hard deadline on Tuesday mornings now. But I got my orders down to the warehouse with 7 minutes to spare! Even with my poor coworkers desperately trying to get my cube decorated around me, poor things. I have to laugh - they brought over a balloon, a balloon weight, and a banner. The balloon is not attached to the balloon weight, it's just floating against the ceiling while the balloon weight its all alone on my shelf not tethering anything. So metaphorical.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I went to the bakery after dropping ltc off at school this morning and bought way too many things, an I remembered to hold the mail and newspaper for vacation this weekend. We're going to Mom's after we pick up ltc on Friday and staying until Monday. TCG and I have theater tickets and dinner reservations for Sunday, and it is easier to just be somewhere where we have built in sitters. We may even try to see a movie or two over the weekend.

Thanks, Jesse. I'm going to find time to see Birds of Prey whether or not TCG wants to go.

Oh yeah, now I want to see that, too!
