Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm on Spectrum, and I'm fine. I'm using Google's DNS, though.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

As do I.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Spectrum is working fine here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My dinner is just fine, but I overcooked all the parts, which is too bad because I have tons of leftovers....

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

And my old boss keeps trying to help me by asking other people to do parts of the job until we get our support person., but they all agree with her to do it, and then come to me to show them how to do it, and then it takes more time than just doing it!

With any luck, that's only true the first time.

Except they are only doing it the once, to help out!

Is anyone watching the Netflix Locke and Key? I am not sure I like it, but I LOVE the house. I think I am just watching to see more of the house.

Locke and Key is on the list because I love Joe Hill's books, but the list is long right now. So, I'm not sure when we'll get to it.

I am on episode 2 of Locke and Key, and I REALLY want the kitchen!

I think my boss is just used to me, so if she wants pens, she just tells me she wants pens, I pick some out, and order them. The assistant she asked is so afraid of someone getting mad at her, she wants someone to go through the catalog and provide her an order number. It is the same thing- she keeps giving "easy" things to the students, but they require me to say, show them how to address an envelope or what a folder is (they scanned and saved the items in a folder on the computer instead of labeling a Manila ffolder!) I can usually head this off if I am giving direction. The poor assistant- I was just like pick out some pens that write! Any pens! Do they make marks on paper? Then I am happy- I have no pens that write!

Thrive to spite them

I'm sorry you are having to deal with that assistant Sophia.

Work was so slow today.

It snowed! and then it rained and the snow is pretty much gone. But it snowed and was foggy and there was like NO ONE or they were all at the Sears that is having a closing sale.

We have had horrible weather all week (pouring rain WITH torandoes close by earlier) so not a lot of customers and I hit my threshold tonight with how much recovering and folding and making things look nice I could do. I finally got to leave an hour early. I may have forgotten to take my ADD meds this morning because by the end of the evening I felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack from trying not to wander off or bounce off the walls or do something inappropriate.

Thinking back on it I should have gone to the other side of the department and done recovery there because it never really looks like they go in and clean out the clearance or make the backsides of certain shelves look nice but I was too mind numbingly bored to think about it.
