TCG had a two hour delay today because of icy roads but ltc's school did not. So, he took her to school, and I got to actually finish a second cuppa and eat breakfast in my pjs. I must shower soon to pick her up.

My grandmother has flat-out stated she refuses to die while the dumpster-fire-in-chief is still in office, which means she'll make it to 101 at least. Obviously I want her to live forever, but preferably spending the rest of her 2nd century living comfortably with 46's universal healthcare plan.
Be careful out there, sj.
My great niece and two of her friends stayed here last night and DH just took them to Miami to hop on a cruise. Fun times. It was nice having a house full of young people.
Thanks, Laura!
Ice is super scary to drive on. Used to get it in Pittsburgh all the time. Hated it. Both for walking and driving!
We're home safe. The main roads are clear. The side roads still have some black ice. 3 idiots passed me on a dangerous road on the way home because I was going 5 mph under the speed limit just to be cautious.
Idiots is right. Good to hear you are home safe and sound.
Thanks, Laura. One of them nearly collided with someone on the other side of the yellow line.
I once saw one of those drivers sliding down a major street downtown sideways. People in this area tend to pretend we don't really get snow ... until we do and then they panic (run to the grocery and buy out the milk, bread, eggs and toilet paper ... and booze) often without snowtires.
